I have driven for years past this old mixed hedge on Willingdon Drove that contains mature trees of oak and ash without realising that it contains Prunus cerasus (Dwarf Cherry). This year the blossom is so fantastic I realised it must be this species. It has suckered for about 70 metres along the hedge.
